Junior Hockey Rebrands in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. — June 23rd, 2025 — The Tulsa Junior Oilers, proud member of the North American 3 Hockey League and partner of the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills and Ruffin Event Center, announced Monday the team’s rebranding to Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club.
“What led to the decision was the confusion between the youth hockey and the NA3HL team,” owner Andy Scurto said. “There was too much confusion with fans thinking the Jr. Oilers were the same group as the Tulsa Junior Oilers Youth hockey players.”
The change aligns the NA3HL franchise with the Oilers Entertainment brand, uniting the program alongside the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL and Tulsa Oilers of The Indoor Football League.
“We used a branding company who helped us in the past with the Football team, and really wanted to incorporate the Football Colors with the Hockey Brand to make a new combined brand unique to the NA3HL team, but still related to our brands.” Scurto added.
The new logo incorporates the wordmark from the ECHL Oilers, oil derrick and colors of the IFL Oilers surrounded by the familiar oil drop.
The Tulsa Oilers Junior Hockey Club’s new jerseys will be unveiled at a later date.
