World Championship of Axe Throwing Brings Elite Competition and High-Energy Events to Tulsa
Tulsa, OK — The World Championship of Axe Throwing is set to deliver an action-packed week of elite competition, community engagement, and thrilling displays of skill as top competitors from around the globe gather in Tulsa to compete for the ultimate title. The event includes free entry for any spectators.
The event will take place at WeStreet Ice Center, transforming the venue into a world-class arena for one of the fastest-growing competitive sports.
The multi-day championship will feature a full schedule of competitions, specialty matches, and fan experiences, culminating in a high-stakes finale on Sunday.

Wednesday – Meet & Greet + Team Relay
Festivities kick off with a Meet & Greet from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering fans the opportunity to connect with athletes. The Team Relay event begins at 6:00 PM, showcasing teamwork and precision in a fast-paced format.
Thursday – Hatchet Competitions
Doors open at 10:00 AM, with matches running through 11:00 PM.
Hatchet competitions begin at 11:00 AM
Hatchet Duals start at 5:30 PM
Friday – Big Axe & Knives
Competition intensifies with a full day of events from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Big Axe matches begin at 9:00 AM
Knife throwing competitions start at 2:00 PM
Saturday – Duals & Pro Events
Another full day of elite competition runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Knife Duals begin at 9:00 AM
Pro Hatchet competition starts at 1:00 PM
Sunday – Finals & Celebration
The championship concludes with final competitions from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, determining the world’s top throwers.
Competitors will celebrate the official After Party hosted at Puck’s from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
