WeStreet Ice Center Boosts Ice Quality with New Dehumidification System

TULSA, Okla – July 19th 2025 — WeStreet Ice Center has just installed a state-of-the-art commercial dehumidification system to significantly enhance ice quality and spectator comfort across its two rinks.

The new system aims to drastically reduce humidity, eliminating fog buildup, reducing condensation, and maintaining optimal ice hardness. These improvements are especially valuable during high-traffic events like OSU Hockey games, youth tournaments, public skate sessions, and league play.

“Installing this system will be a game-changer,” said Cody Stephens, the Facility Manager. “We are hoping to see notable improvements — clearer ice, crisper rink sightlines, and a much more comfortable environment for everyone.”

With this upgrade in place, WeStreet is now positioned to host larger tournaments, faster-paced games, and longer public sessions without compromising ice quality — unlocking a whole new level of performance and comfort for future events.

This upgrade reflects WeStreet’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and long-term investment in its facility. With peaks in summer camps, tournaments, and hockey seasons ahead, the new system ensures the rink will deliver top-tier conditions year-round.
