Westreet Ice Center Welcomes Two New Coaches To Our Skating Staff
TULSA, Okla. — October 6th, 2025 — Tulsa Ice Centers is proud to announce the addition of two highly accomplished coaches, Elizabeth Bernardini and De’Laci Froese, to our team. Their impressive backgrounds and passion for the sport will bring fresh expertise and inspiration to our skaters of all levels.
Elizabeth Bernardini
Elizabeth began skating at the age of three and went on to compete on the international senior circuit in partnered ice dance among the top teams in the world. After retiring from competitive skating, she shifted her focus to coaching, where she has found a true love for teaching ice dance and choreographing programs. Elizabeth also has extensive experience in skating skills, spins, and jumps, and she recently coached students at national solo dance events and the national solo dance final.
Elizabeth prioritizes the wellbeing of her students while fostering a lifelong love of the sport. She values collaboration and tailors each lesson to her students’ individual goals. Off the ice, Elizabeth recently graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan with a degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience.
De’Laci Froese
De’Laci began skating at the Oilers Ice Center at the age of 10 and quickly developed into a competitive freestyle skater, participating in National Showcase and Excel Nationals. After moving to Wisconsin as a teenager, she discovered synchronized skating and joined a team that led her to an impressive three-season career in the discipline.
De’Laci went on to skate with Team USA’s Fond du Lac Blades, traveling internationally and gaining valuable experience in a variety of skating styles. Her specialties include edges, moves in the field, choreography, dance, and spins.
In addition to her coaching role, De’Laci is also in the process of becoming an Ice Girl for the Tulsa Oilers’ upcoming season, showcasing her deep ties to both skating and the Tulsa community.
We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth and De’Laci to the WeStreet Ice Center coaching staff and look forward to the knowledge, creativity, and passion they will share with our skaters.
The WeStreet Ice Center is continuing to expand its lineup of premier events, with plans to grow its role as a host for international competitions, family entertainment, and community programming.
