World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships at WeStreet Ice Center

The World Axe & Knife Throwing League World Championships return to WeStreet Ice Center from April 16–19, bringing together the world’s top axe and knife throwers for an action-packed, multi-day international competition. Following the success of last year’s event, this championship will feature elite competitors battling it out for a major prize pool in front of a live audience. Best of all—admission is completely free, making it the perfect event for families, fans, and anyone looking for something unique and exciting to experience in Tulsa.

Event Schedule Overview

Wednesday – Meet & Greet + Team Relay
Festivities kick off with a Meet & Greet from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, giving fans the opportunity to connect with athletes. The Team Relay begins at 6:00 PM, highlighting teamwork and fast-paced competition.

Thursday – Hatchet Competitions
Doors open at 10:00 AM, with matches running through 10:00 PM.

  • Hatchet Competitions: 11:00 AM Round Robin match start, Double elimination final tournament: 1pm

  • Hatchet Duals: 5:30 PM Bracket 1 7:30PM Bracket 2

Friday – Big Axe & Knives
A full day of competition from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

  • Big Axe Matches: 9:00 AM Bracket 1 11AM Bracket 2

  • Knife Throwing Competitions: 2:00 PM Bracket 1 4PM Bracket 2

Saturday – Duals & Pro Events
Another full day of elite competition from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

  • Knife Duals: 9:00 AM Matches Start (one bracket only)

  • Pro Hatchet Competition: 1:00 PM Bracket 1 2PM Bracket 2 4pm Bracket 3 5pm Bracket 4

Sunday – Finals & Celebration
Championship finals take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, where the world’s top throwers are crowned.
Celebrate the winners at the official After Party hosted at Puck’s Sports Bar & Grill from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
